Description
Overview
Orion "Outdoor" coffee table is an outdoor coffee table by Giampiero Tagliaferri for Minotti, offered in rectangular, square and trapezoidal shapes. It can stand alone in front of the sofa or sit between the upholstered modules as a service surface.
Construction
- Top: mitre-fold boxed travertine, 20 mm thick, contoured, filled and smoothed, in Travertine, Grey, Red, Yellow or Walnut colour
- Support: marine-grade plywood panel with a matt black lacquer finish under the top
- Wood: the product contains FSC® certified wood components
- Base: polished stainless steel, or stainless steel varnished polished Bronze
- Stain resistance: the travertine tops carry a stain-resistant treatment that gives no total protection
- Feet: adjustable, black rubber

Story
Stone folded around the edge
The top is made with the folding technique, so the stone continues across both the surface and the sides. A structural subframe gives the table stability and construction precision.
A plinth that lifts the volume
A steel plinth, also available in a varnished finish, lifts the volume off the ground and adds a luminous detail that highlights its profile. The travertine top comes in five tones, which add subtle chromatic accents against the upholstery fabrics.
