Story

From the Eames House

Vitra's fact sheet says the Eameses used the LTR in their own home, where a number of the tables are still found today, singly or in groups. Some carry objects the couple collected and others serve as a side table next to an armchair or sofa.

Tea at the Eames House

A Vitra magazine story places the Occasional Table LTR at a Japanese tea ceremony held there in 1951, where tea was served on the low-set tables.
