Nooch

Nooch modular seating

Piero Lissoni's 2023 Nooch uses square and rectangular outdoor modules. Recycled aluminium tubing forms the structure, and dedicated joints connect independent units.

Two-module representative composition

The documented composition joins two matching NH95C central modules side by side. The drawing gives each module as 95 cm wide, 95 cm deep and 65 cm high; together they measure 190 cm wide, 95 cm deep and 65 cm high.

Name and structural idea

B&B Italia says the name refers to Thailand's Nong Nooch tropical botanical garden. The visual signature comes from crossed structural members and the elbow-like bend where aluminium tubes meet.

Compositional freedom

Backs, arms, intermediate top sections and a round service element extend the two basic platform formats. Components may stand alone or lock together through dedicated joints.
