Overview
The Newood Relax Lido armchair is a Brogliato Traverso design for Cappellini's outdoor catalogue. Cappellini describes it as a fresh take on the classic outdoor armchair, with a fluid, embracing silhouette.
Construction
The armchair is built in solid iroko left raw, a hardwood Cappellini links to resistance to water and temperature changes. Under the cushion sits an okume plywood seat with an iroko veneer. The cushion pairs multi-density polyurethane foam with polyester wadding behind an inner waterproof lining, and its outdoor-fabric upholstery can be removed. Feet in black plastic carry the frame.
