Description

Overview

The Newood Light Stool by Brogliato Traverso completes the Newood family, a collection inspired by classic Windsor chairs and reimagined in a minimalist, lightweight form. Cappellini offers it in two heights.

Construction

The frame is solid ash, finished in one of four options from bleached to a blue Shanghai aniline stain. Seats come in two forms: a beech plywood seat veneered in ash that matches the frame, or a padded seat whose front is polyurethane foam with fixed upholstery in fabric or leather. The front footrest is brushed stainless steel, and the feet are black nylon.

Specifications

  • Seat: wooden or padded
  • Origin and use: made in Italy, indoor

Story

The Stool of the Newood Family

The Newood Light stool carries the Windsor-chair starting point of the Newood family into a minimalist, lightweight form with a distinctive character. With it the family is complete.

Two Heights, Two Seats

The stool is made in two heights. Both heights take either a wooden seat or a padded one. The solid ash frame comes in four finishes, and a brushed stainless steel footrest runs across the front.
