Overview
Nevi Link is a system of height-adjustable benches designed by Brian Alexander. Herman Miller says it condenses the footprint of an office through a streamlined design.
Construction
Work surfaces are laminate or veneer in rectangle and 120 degree shapes with a square or thin edge. Cable management sits under the surface, and screens, storage and technology support attach to the bench.
Specifications
Depths are 24 and 30 in and widths 48 to 72 in. The lift offers 27 to 46 in in its standard electric version and, in the extended version, 22 to 48 in, with a lifting capacity of 200 lbs.
Story
A bench for denser offices
Herman Miller introduces Nevi Link as a way to fit more people into an office without sacrificing their comfort, and says regular movement between sitting and standing is meant to support energy and productivity.
Brian Alexander
The brochure ties the bench to Alexander's minimalist approach, in which a design is complete with the minimum amount of bits and still open to growth, which is how screens, storage and technology support can be added later.
