NeoWall Sofa Bed

Overview

NeoWall Sofa Bed is the 2017 convertible version of Piero Lissoni's NeoWall sofa. The compact specification combines a fixed sofa body with two internal sleeping widths.

Construction

Poplar-and-fir honeycomb panels form the frame. Differentiated-density polyurethane foam, acrylic fibres and polyester fibre build the upholstery, above an electro-welded orthopedic steel base.

Bed specification

The mattresses measure 190 × 13 × 146 cm or 190 × 13 × 160 cm. Seat depth is 74 cm; seven-centimetre armrests and an expanded-polyurethane mattress are available on request.

From NeoWall to sofa bed

Living Divani introduced the sofa-bed interpretation in 2017, six years after the NeoWall sofa. The model preserves the family name but receives its own fixed shell, mattress assembly and opened-bed configuration.

Closed and extended

NeoWall Sofa Bed appears in both its daytime sofa state and its extended sleeping state. It is the convertible member of the family, distinct from the modular sofa and the 2016 NeoWall Bed.
