Column-base Montera
This original Montera stool rotates through 360 degrees and adjusts in height via a gas spring. A lever below the shell controls the movement.
Shell and support
Rigid moulded polyurethane and expanded-polyurethane padding form the seat. The chrome-plated steel base combines a cross plate, column, knurled tubular footrest and circular floor plate.
Dimensions
Drawing code 5559091 gives 49 × 51 cm overall, with height adjustable from 86 to 111 cm and a labelled seat-height range of 54 to 79 cm.
Story
The moving Montera stool
Roberto Lazzeroni gives the original Montera shell a centrally supported base that can turn and rise. The adjustable format stands apart from the family's fixed H66 and H74 stools.
Upholstery carried onto the column
The portion above the footrest is covered to match the shell. Below it, chrome-plated steel remains visible through the column, diamond-knurled footrest and flat round plate.
