Numbered bar cabinet
Mikiolone model 7521 is a bar cabinet designed by Alessandro Mendini in 1986. Zanotta made nine signed, individually numbered examples. The wooden frame is lacquered in various colours.
Legs, tops and drawing
The official sheet and Edizioni catalogue specify turned-wood legs lacquered silver, whereas the current product page calls the legs steel. All three sources specify glass tops 20 mm thick. The drawing prints 110, 53 and 162 cm; no axis names accompany those figures.
Histoire
Mendini's 1986 cabinet
The three saved official records place Mikiolone in 1986 under Alessandro Mendini's name. The manufacturer assigns model number 7521 and limits the work to nine examples, each numbered and signed.
Lacquered wood and glass
The wooden frame is lacquered in various colours, and the legs are silver. Zanotta's current page describes the legs as steel; the product sheet and Edizioni catalogue instead describe silver-lacquered turned wood. Each source specifies glass tops at 20 mm thick.
