Chest of drawers
Genesio model 7810 is a signed chest designed by Alik Cavaliere in 1990. Zanotta explicitly describes a wooden frame veneered in walnut root in various colours and classifies the object as a chest of drawers.
Cast handles and drawing
The cast bronze handles represent the Genesis, making the hardware part of the stated subject rather than a generic fitting. The official drawing prints 50, 50 and 130 cm around its two views; its axes are not labelled.
Histoire
Cavaliere's 1990 model
Zanotta's product page, model sheet and Edizioni catalogue agree on Alik Cavaliere and the year 1990. The manufacturer presents Genesio as a signed original.
The Genesis in bronze
The cabinet's name and its functional hardware meet in the cast bronze handles, which Zanotta says represent the Genesis. Zanotta pairs this bronze work with walnut-root veneer in various colours.
