Lou Nightstand

Overview

The Lou "Nightstand" by Christophe Delcourt has two side-opening drawers. Its frame is larch veneer with an open-pore lacquered Licorice finish, or glossy lacquer in Burnt Brown, Moka or Moss, and its flush-fitted top is marble or glass. It measures 75 x 50 x 42.5 cm.

Construction

A contoured MDF interior is sheathed in plywood. The lacquered versions have glossy fronts and matt lacquered sides, and the larch version is brushed and open-pore lacquered. The two drawers glide on Blumotion runners and are finished inside like the outside. The top is marble in Rosso Levanto, Verde Lepanto or Calacatta, 20 mm thick, or black pâte de verre glass at 15 mm; either is contoured and set partly into the frame, leaving 5 mm exposed. Adjustable feet are Hytrel®.

A nightstand with side-opening drawers

Christophe Delcourt equipped the Lou nightstand with two practical drawers that open from the side. The frame is larch veneer with an open-pore lacquered Licorice finish, or lacquered in glossy Burnt Brown, Moka and Moss.

Flush-fitted marble or glass tops

The tops are set flush into the frame in Calacatta, Verde Lepanto or Rosso Levanto marble, or in black pâte de verre glass. Each lacquer colour of the frame is paired with a marble, and the Licorice larch frame takes Calacatta marble or black glass.
