Construction

Leonard is built around a double shell: an outer shell that forms a continuous enclosure around the seat, and an inner padded shell that carries the backrest, seat and armrests. The datasheet gives the under-seat shell as curved veneered plywood and the base as painted steel with a 360 degree swivel motion and automatic return.
