Description

Overview

Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 designed the Linha coffee tables for Minotti around a thin marble top only 16 mm thick. The tables come in square, rectangular, circular and oval shapes, and several of them can be joined to build larger surfaces.

Construction

The stratified bearing structure is matt black lacquered, with 12 mm thick aluminium sides varnished in Golden Brown. The top is boxed MDF clad in laminate with a matt black lacquer finish, finished with marble in Sahara Noir or Grigio Orobico. Adjustable metal feet in Golden Brown carry protective ABS glides.

Specifications

Overall size: 120 x 60 x 28 cm (rectangular table with Sahara Noir top).

Story

Lines taken from the dining table

Minotti describes the Linha coffee tables as minimalist, with elegant proportions, and as the product of a design approach centred on the architecture of the object and on carefully worked materials. The thin marble top repeats the airy lines of the Linha dining table.

Joined volumes and bridge-like frame

Because the tables can be placed together, they form variable compositions with a striking impact. The open and closed volumes of the bridge-like frame shape the effect of each arrangement.
