Description
Overview
The Libra Bench is, in Minotti's words, part of the namesake family. Minotti singles out an elegant curling detail that runs round the whole perimeter of the volume, together with stitching at the centre of the cushions. The page also mentions a metal base, characterised by tubular legs and a plate with a curved outline.

Construction
- Structure: plywood of various thicknesses; the seat itself is built up in layers of variable-density, high-resilience polyurethane foam and then wrapped in breathable quilted fibre bonded to white hypoallergenic cotton; the slipcover is tailored with soft top-stitching
- Covers: the upholstery comes off completely, in the fabric and in the leather versions
- Base: a plate of 8 mm bent sheet metal varnished matt Black or polished Black Coffee, joined to Ø 25 mm cylindrical bars; black polyethylene glides
- Wood: the page notes that the product contains FSC-certified wood components

Story
Perimeter detail and centre stitching
The page's own description of the bench rests on two details: a curling line that runs round the entire edge of the volume, and the stitching at the centre of its cushions.
From bench to composition
The technical sheet draws the bench in ten arrangements: six lengths between 156 and 216 cm at a depth of 56 cm, a 196 by 96 cm version, the same 196 by 96 cm with a removable cushion, and two combinations of a long bench with a 100 cm element, at 156 by 156 cm and 196 by 156 cm.
