Story

From the Villa Kujoyama to a shelving unit

Benjamin Graindorge took up again, during the spring 2020 lockdown, a project that he had started a few years earlier at the Villa Kujoyama. That French artistic establishment stands on Mount Higashi in Kyoto, and its calm provides what encourages creation with a link to Japan.

Proportions

The Kujoyama bookcase gives a feeling of controlled calm through the severity of subtly dosed proportions between the elements that make it up. Those elements are shelves and sides in ash with solid wood lips, with an MDF wall panel with black grooves.
