Description

Overview

Benjamin Graindorge's Apogée floor lamp has a satin-white epoxy-lacquered steel structure topped by two conical white linen lampshades. Their diameters are 500 and 800 mm.

Light and control

A transparent antistatic PMMA diffuser covers an interchangeable 9 W LED module. The light is warm white at 2700 K and produces 1,260 lumens; total consumption including the power supply is 9.4 W. A transparent PVC cable ends at a transparent foot dimmer.

Dimensions

Apogée stands 1,900 mm high and has an 800 mm diameter. The listed weight is 13 kg.

Story

Two nested cones

The smaller cone sits below the broad upper shade, concentrating the light source within a layered white profile. The curved steel stem rises from a circular base and supports the shades above standing height.

Diffused warm light

The PMMA element softens the 2700 K LED output. Floor-level dimming allows the 1,260-lumen module to be adjusted without adding a switch to the white structure.
