Description

Overview

The Kobold classic 1-armed settee with short unit is a Kobold settee with a single arm, designed by Erwan Bouroullec for Ligne Roset in the Classic version of the range. It is offered in 34 materials.

Construction

The frame of the seat uses spruce plywood panels, which an ash veneered MDF panel clads, while the armrest and back structure are ash veneered MDF wrapped in Bultex foam and polyester quilting. A stained ash base carries the settee, with black lacquered beech used where the frame is hidden. Pocket springs and Bultex foam make up the seat, and goose feathers alone fill the bolsters, while the back cushions pair Bultex foam with feathers.

Specifications

Overall size: 2,260 x 1,100 x 710 mm (W x D x H). Seat height: 400 mm.

Story

The Classic version of Kobold

Kobold is a family of one-armed settees and daybeds meant for multi-use living, from formal sitting to lying down to sleep. In the Classic version the seat is 40 cm high and the posture is more vertical, a more vertical posture that invites interaction and socialisation.

Piped cushions

Piping carries the luxurious, classic character of this settee. Seat and back cushions are double piped and lumbar cushions have a single piping, while the seat cushion has two satin stitches.
