Description

Overview

The Keypiece Conference Table by EOOS is the table range for modern conferencing, for daily business and for the boardroom. It is a system of table top, legs, frame and hubs whose construction follows the aesthetic of minimalism.

Construction

The top comes in 5 shapes with a 25 mm straight, a 28 mm chamfered or a 28 mm soft edge. The legs are aluminium or solid wood, and cables for power and data are routed through the legs. The beam is an aluminium extrusion and the joint is die-cast aluminium.

Specifications

  • Height: 740 mm
  • Top shapes: rectangular, boat-shaped, trapezoidal, square, round
  • Leg materials: aluminium, solid wood

Story

Minimal by construction

The logic of the Keypiece construction follows the aesthetic of minimalism. The outer edges of the solid wood or aluminium legs and the veneered table top are subtly visible, and a variety of frames allows for different table shapes.

Cable routing in the leg

EOOS dealt with the usual problem of conference tables with an integrated power supply inside the leg: a plastic cover conceals the cable, and the height adjustment mechanism is integrated at the same point. In this way the table keeps the calm, minimalist appearance of a simple four-legged table.
