Description

Overview

Kasumi is an armchair designed by Mist-o in 2024 for Living Divani, in an indoor version. A wooden structure gives it lightness and naturalness, and a clean, pure silhouette.

Construction

The frame is curved steel tubulars, Ø20 mm, with a 20x20 mm squared tubular steel seat frame and an epoxy polyester powder coating in a burnished colour. The suspension is borne by polypropylene slats with a fibreglass-reinforced core (GOODSIDE®). The sides are shaped solid ash wood, Ø40 mm, in natural or charcoal-dyed finishes, joined to the frame with AISI 316 stainless steel pins and screws. The backrest is woven with hide profile or synthetic rope. The seat and backrest cushions have differentiated-density polyurethane foam padding and a polyester fibre lining on polyamide velveteen. Zippers let the fabric or leather covers come off in full. Interchangeable black plastic or felt tips meet the floor.

Kasumi pairs a slender metal frame with shaped solid ash sides. The backrest is woven, in hide profile or synthetic rope, and the armchair is drawn with a backrest cushion.

Finishing details

The sides can be left natural or charcoal-dyed. The backrest weaving is offered in eight colours, five in synthetic rope and three in hide profile. Floor contact is through interchangeable tips in black plastic or felt.
