Overview
Moon Coffee Table was designed by Mist-o in 2021 for Living Divani. Moon was launched as a bedside table in 2014 and is resumed and expanded in three new variants: Full Moon, Moon Eclipse and Moon Satellite. Each variant is a coffee table of cylinders and semi-cylinders with fixed and opening elements.
Construction
The structure is 7 mm thick curved plywood veneered in natural oak, charcoal-dyed oak with a water-based acrylic painting finish, or tobacco-dyed oak with an acrylic painting. The base, internal compartments and top are 15 mm thick MDF, oak veneered, and the removable swivelling components of different capacities are in matt black painted MDF.
Specifications
Full Moon is a low and wide volume with an upper hinged door. Moon Eclipse is a double volume that combines a low and wide cylinder with a satellite container that opens on one side. Moon Satellite is a container on wheels with two compartments of different sizes and capacities.
Story
From bedside table to coffee tables
Moon by Mist-o began as a bedside table in 2014. The coffee-table series brings it back in three new variants, each built from cylinders and semi-cylinders in curved oak plywood.
Three ways to open
Full Moon has an upper hinged door over a low, wide volume, and it works as a low table and also as a container. Moon Eclipse pairs a low, wide cylinder with a satellite container that opens on one side, and Moon Satellite is a container on wheels with two compartments.
