Description

Overview

Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Jobs meeting table, a rectangular table with a leather top and a central part through which cables come out, made of leather or matte oak veneer. It belongs to the Jobs system, which also includes a desk, a cabinet and a bookcase.

Construction

  • Base: brushed steel in a lead-painted finish, with a T-shaped section and adjustable plastic feet
  • Top: two MDF panels laid one over the other; the lower is painted black, textured and scratch-resistant, and the upper is covered in leather
  • Short ends: recessed edging in MDF with a matte oak veneer
  • Cable management column: MDF panelling veneered in oak, polished

Specifications

  • Overall size: 150 x 74.5 cm (D x H)

Story

Leather over black

In the Jobs meeting table a leather-covered MDF panel lies over a second MDF panel, which is painted in textured black that resists scratches. Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather covers the surface, and the middle of the top can combine the leather with a matte oak veneer.

Cables through the middle

The central part of the top lets electrical cables come out of the table. At its two short ends the thickness of the top is finished with a recessed frame of oak-veneered MDF in a matte finish, and a lead-painted steel base with a T section carries the whole top.
