Description
Overview
Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Jobs desk for Poltrona Frau, shown here in its 72 in size. A leather-upholstered top sits on a steel frame with a T-shaped section, and a central strip of the top lets electrical cables pass through.
Construction
- Frame: brushed steel with a lead-painted finish, T-shaped section, adjustable plastic feet
- Top: two overlapping MDF panels; the lower one has a textured, scratch-resistant black finish and the upper one is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather
- Central strip: leather or wood, with a slot for cables
- Guest area: leather like the top, or matte oak

Story
A top in two layers
The top of the Jobs desk is built from two panels laid one over the other. A black, textured, scratch-resistant finish covers the lower panel, and the upper panel is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather.
Cables through the centre
A strip runs along the middle of the top. This central section lets the electrical cables come through, and it comes in leather or in wood.
