Overview
The Jaan 780 Armchair is a compact, solidly padded armchair by EOOS for Walter Knoll. It joins charm and powerfulness, straightness and harmony, and is designed for both private and public interiors.
Construction
A wooden frame with zigzag springs carries fixed seat and back cushions in cold cure foam under a wadding layer. The feet are aluminium extrusion with die-cast aluminium, highly polished or powder-coated matt black or matt bronze, and the fine felled seams are a sign of expert craftsmanship.

Story
Opposites in balance
The armchair combines apparent opposites: charm and powerfulness, straightness and harmony. The compact cube floats on elegant legs in a balanced harmony of lightness and weight, and the final touches were given particular attention.
