Ile Club Daybed Outdoor

Overview

Piero Lissoni designed the Ile Club Daybed in 2009. The outdoor model presents already familiar geometries in a structured form made for outdoor use, and keeps an unmistakable rigor.

Construction

The seat frame is varnished steel with a galvanised coating for outdoor use, finished with epoxy powders and sprung with elastic straps that have stainless steel hooks. The backrest structure is an outdoor plywood panel with an adjustable mechanism with 5 positions, up to a height of 82 cm. In the seat and backrest cushions, open-cell polyurethane foam is wrapped in polyester fibres and then in a draining fabric cover. The square tube base is made of stainless steel (AISI 316), left matte satin, or powder-coated (epoxy polyester) in a burnished colour or Gunmetal grey. The single daybed has a standard base with wheels. The upholstery is in outdoor fabrics, fully removable with zippers and Velcro fastenings.
