Story
Comfort at the table
Walter Knoll's press text describes the cantilever as a classic of relaxed sitting and says George brings special comfort to sitting at table. It names quiet elegance and understatement for aesthetes.
The armrest seam
Particular attention went to the leather-covered armrests. The press release points to the parallel stitching of the hand-sewn seam as a sign of true craftsmanship, soft and pleasant to touch.
