Overview
David Lopez Quincoces drew the Gala sofa for Living Divani. The Gala collection, which includes sofas of different sizes, finds its essence in the power of the curve.
Construction
A frame of poplar and pine plywood forms the backrest and seat, padded in polyurethane foam and suspended on cross-woven coated-rubber elastic straps. The backrest cushion has a support panel of poplar and pine plywood fixed with snap pins, and both the backrest and the full seat cushion are wrapped in a mattress pad filled with goose down. The feet are adjustable steel in matt black.
Specifications
The seat depth of the sofas is 62 cm. Leather upholstery is always fixed, while fabric covers come off entirely with zippers and Velcro fastenings.
Story
The power of the curve
Gala is defined by the power of the curve, which gives the collection its silhouette and also becomes the distinctive element of the project. The collection comprises an armchair and sofas in different sizes.
Padded volumes on matt black feet
Mattress pads of goose down, kept in stitched compartments, cover the backrest and seat cushions of the sofa. Adjustable feet in matt black steel support the body, with plastic tips on the floor.
