Overview
Gala Armchair dates from 2025 and was drawn by David Lopez Quincoces for Living Divani. Fluid lines and volumes are meant to redefine the idea of a cosy seat.
Construction
The backrest and seat frame is poplar and pine plywood with polyurethane foam padding, covered in polyester fibre (needle treatment, resin finish) laid on a polyamide velveteen base. The suspension is coated-rubber elastic straps, cross-woven. The backrest cushion and the full seat cushion are differentiated-density polyurethane foam wrapped in a mattress pad of pre-washed, sterilised goose down divided into stitched compartments, and the seat cushion has topstitching. Upholstery is always fixed in leather, or fabric covers that are removable in full, fixed by zippers and Velcro. The adjustable feet are matt black steel with plastic tips, and a swivel base is also offered.
Specifications
Overall size: 95 x 90 x 67 cm (GLAE095). Seat depth: 56 cm.

Cushions and covers
Both cushions have a goose-down mattress pad over foam of differentiated density. The seat cushion carries topstitching and is fastened to the structural cover with a zipper, while the backrest panel is held to its frame with snap pins.
