Fynn Outdoor

Overview

Fynn "Outdoor" is an armchair by GamFratesi for Minotti, made in solid teak with fine cabinet-making workmanship, an approach that is completely innovative for outdoor wooden furniture. Its structure is simple and its aesthetic ultra-lightweight.

Construction

• Structure: loadbearing frame in solid teak, First European Quality Tectona Grandis, kiln-dried and naturally finished; machined by CNC and joined with dowels
• Seat shell: steel with an exterior-grade polyester powder-coated finish in polished Bronze colour, covered in a wicker-effect braided fibre of Ø 5 mm in the Mud colour
• Cushions: one padded element for seat and backrest, foam plus eco-friendly viscose fibre, in a polyester cover treated against water; a zipper connects both parts and an elastic band fixes them to the structure
• Glides: bronze-coloured protective SEBS

Scandinavian values, Italian tradition

Fynn is a contemporary design for outdoor spaces in teak, where Scandinavian values and Italian tradition come together. Fine cabinet-making methods are applied to a family of outdoor pieces in solid teak.

The armrest as signature

The armrest is the signature element of Fynn. It is long with a slight curve, rounded, smooth under the hand and made entirely by hand. On the armchair a frame interwoven with wicker-effect cords in Mud colour holds one padded seat and backrest cushion, and the informal rigour of this arrangement makes for a comfortable seat.
