Story
A small tree in the room
Strong, graceful and seemingly rooted to the floor, the Foster 620 Side Table tapers in order to carry a slimline tabletop with safe elegance. The leather that covers the tabletops is high-grade, and the soft surface invites the hand.
A dialogue with nature
Developing the table meant coming to terms with nature, in design and in manufacture. The challenge was to make a piece of a tree withstand heat and cold in all kinds of climatic regions without cracking, and the construction engineers spent months thinking it through until they had a solution.
