Overview
The Foster 502 Sofa was designed by Norman Foster with elegant proportions, fine leather and excellent craftsmanship. Its intricately worked visible seams show the quality of the design. The sofa and the accompanying armchair were created for prestigious offices and lobbies.
Construction
A beech frame with zigzag springs carries loose seat and back cushions that are attached by zipper. Seat cushions use a cold cure foam sandwich beneath a wadding layer, and the seat and back cushions are both quilted with drawn-ins. The legs are matt brushed steel or black chrome, and the sofa is fitted with synthetic glides.

Story
Understated British character
