Description
Overview
Fly SC12 is the three-seater sofa of the Fly range by Space Copenhagen. An oak frame carries loose pillows of HR foam and feather.
Construction
Craftsmen build the frame by hand in solid oak and oak veneer, and the legs end in felt gliders.
Specifications
240 × 80 × 68.5 cm (L × D × H, from the fact sheet), seating height 40 cm, seating depth 54 cm, 80 kg on the sheet; a 46 cm seating height needs the longer legs option.
Story
Two years for one sofa
The fact sheet of Fly SC12 is dated 2013 and the product page gives 2017. These are the two years &Tradition publishes for it, so the sofa carries no single year in this library.
Rating for general use
Both documents rate the sofa at level 2 of EN 15373, in the general contract class. Longer legs are offered on request: both documents give a 46 cm seating height for them, against 40 cm as standard.
