Overview
Fackel gives ancient wall torches a contemporary reading: a metal bar projects a warm, evocative glow like the soft light of sunset. Umberto Bellardi Ricci designed it as an essential and sculptural lamp.
Construction
The structure is steel, with a satin chrome finish (T24). The light source is a dimmable LED strip, 140 LED/m, 2700K, 28W, positioned at the back of the bar.
Specifications
The reference model, code 0FCK01, measures 6 W x 13 D x 192 H cm.
Story
From German wall torches
The German word Fackel means a wall torch, like those that burned naked flames on the walls of castles and monasteries in the Middle Ages. Umberto Bellardi Ricci turns that image into an essential and sculptural lamp.
A bar bent at two points
The lamp is a metal bar bent at two points and left to run parallel to the wall. An LED strip positioned at the back of the bar gives off a warm, enveloping brightness.
