Description

Overview

Ermione armchair, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2015. The enveloping upholstered seat back has a sculpted opening above the seat, and the base is cast aluminium or solid wood.

Construction

Metal backrest padded with moulded polyurethane; foam on a plywood seat; ash base in four finishes, or Ermione 20 on powder-coated metal with ash or aluminium feet; upholstery cannot be removed.

Story

The opening above the seat

Flexform's page describes the Ermione armchair's enveloping upholstered seat back with an opening sculpted above the seat, and a base made in cast aluminium or in solid wood. The sheet gives the standard base as solid ash and lists a separate Ermione 20 line on a metal base.

Where it was placed

Flexform's project pages place the Ermione armchair at Villa Sola Cabiati on Lake Como and in the lounge area of The David Kempinski in Tel Aviv.
