Overview
David Lopez Quincoces designed the Era Sofa for Living Divani in 2018. A slender metal structure supports a full, soft padded volume.

The seat chassis is 20 x 20 mm tubular steel with cross-woven elastic straps in coated rubber, padded in polyurethane foam and fixed to the backrest frame by steel plates. The lining is 100% polyether on a velveteen backing, and the steel feet are 18 mm in diameter.
Specifications
Overall size: 180 x 78 x 72 cm. The seat depth is 66 cm, and the covers, available in fabric or leather, are fully detachable.
Story
A challenge to gravity
The Era Sofa has a slender metal structure that supports a full and soft padded volume. This is a sort of challenge to gravity, one that reveals the mastery acquired in dosing weights and measures.
Frame, seat and feet
David Lopez Quincoces gave the sofa a backrest frame with a steel insert and a tubular steel seat chassis joined by steel plates. Steel feet in Gunmetal grey carry the upholstered body, and adjustable plastic tips meet the floor.
