Description
Overview
Jaime Hayon's Elefy JH37 (2020) is the upholstered castor chair of the series: a polypropylene shell over HR foam with a fabric or leather cover, on an aluminium swivel base with castors.
Construction
Foam sits between the polypropylene shell and its cover. Extruded aluminium forms the swivel base that carries the castors; it comes polished or with a powder coat.
Specifications
57.5 × 58 × 77 cm (W × D × H), seat at 47 cm; 11.2 kg; for indoors.
Story
Customising the cover
The page of JH37 carries a Customise button beside Find Dealer, and its Upholstery entry refers the reader to the product configurator for fabrics. A list under the configurator shows two entries of Noble Aniline leather in different colours.
Weight with the cover
JH37 weighs 11.2 kg on its page and on its fact sheet. The pages of the uncovered castor chair JH36 give 9.4 kg, so the page figures differ by 1.8 kg between the two castor models.
