Description
Overview
Jaime Hayon designed Elefy JH32 as a swivel chair with an uncovered polypropylene shell and a four-star aluminium base (2020). The shell comes in two colours and the base in two finishes.
Construction
The shell is moulded from polypropylene. Extruded aluminium forms the swivel base, in a polished or a powder-coated version, and the feet carry plastic gliders.
Specifications
57.5 × 58 × 77 cm (W × D × H) with a seat at 47 cm; 8.9 kg; for indoors.
Story
A single variant
The variant line of the product page lists one variant, Elefy JH32, with a choice of two shell colours. A Shell Colours list repeats the two, and a Base Finishes list gives two base finishes.
Swivel among armchairs
The page lists Elefy JH28, JH29, JH30 and JH31 under the type armchair, while its own specifications describe JH32 as a swivel chair. It gives 2020 as the year of JH32, one year after the 2019 date on the pages of JH28 to JH31.
