Egg Foot Stool 3127

Overview

The Egg™ foot stool 3127 is the footstool of the Egg™ series by Arne Jacobsen, designed in 1958. Fritz Hansen's page gives it a neat, understated form with a star-base chosen to match the curves of the Egg chair.

Construction

• Shell: synthetic material, the foam for the upholstery is moulded straight onto the hard PUR shell (fact sheet)
• Base: four-star aluminium base, satin polished or powder coated; the sheet says the footstool is without swivel function
• Leg ferrules: black polyamide
