Egeo
Edra describes Egeo as a splinter or large fragment of faceted glass with a thick irregular edge. The name recalls the rugged coastline of the Aegean islands. The series comprises glass tables with irregular, elliptical or round tops. Each piece is unique and hand finished, so the glass surface remains the defining feature of every Egeo table. Jacopo Foggini is credited for a design in which the facets, substantial edge and uneven outline work together as one recognisable form.
Story
A fragment shaped by glass
Egeo takes its character from the irregular edge and facets of a substantial glass top. Jacopo Foggini is credited by Edra. The product series includes elliptical and round versions, while the page stresses that each piece is unique and hand finished. The coastline reference explains the name and the deliberately rugged perimeter without assigning an unlabelled size or finish to the table.
