Milano
Edra's Milano is a high-backed chair inspired by the slender form, ribbed texture and warm-grey-leaning colours of Milan Cathedral's facade. The official Spanish product page and the saved technical manual describe a chair made with artisan craftsmanship in polychrome polycarbonate. Linear geometries are enriched by fluid variations in the material's tones and by a distinctive reed-like structure. The monocoque seat and backrest are realized in polychrome polycarbonate, while a shiny metal base supports the swivelling seat. The manual documents MLN010 with a Palladium/Ruthenium base and MLN020 with a Gold base.
Story
A chair shaped by Milanese architecture
Milano takes its visual cue from the facade of the Milan Duomo. Edra connects its high back, slender outline and ribbed texture to that source, then develops the reference through polychrome polycarbonate. White-to-grey tones reflect light and colour, while the reed structure gives the monocoque seat and backrest their linear relief. A shiny metal base completes the chair and enables swivel movement. The saved technical sheet identifies two base versions, Palladium/Ruthenium and Gold, with the same labelled overall dimensions.
