Dita Sideboard

Overview

The Dita Sideboard is a low storage unit for Ligne Roset by Pagnon & Pelhaître. The pictured version has two flap doors above two drawers; a second version uses hanging-file drawers.

Construction

A frame of 15 x 15 mm anodised aluminium profiles in brushed bronze holds lacquered panels, Argile inside and in 15 outside colours or two wood finishes, Black stained ash and Dark walnut. Handles are injected zamak, bronze lacquered; 30 mm feet end in a black adjustable foot.

Specifications

H 31 x W 67 x D 17 in (about 787 x 1,702 x 432 mm) for the two-drawer, two-flap-door version. Modular, with custom sizes and finishes via an advisor.

A modular sideboard

Ligne Roset presents Dita as a modular product and lists its sideboards in four- and three-door versions, a two-door version with three drawers, and this flap-and-drawer layout. The designers aimed to separate it from office metal systems by using lacquered wood panels.

Frame first

The aluminium profiles are discreet, joined and not structural in appearance, while the handle and slim feet are drawn to match. On this sideboard the same detailing repeats across a wider front.
