Description

Overview

Book&Look is a modular living-room composition by Pagnon & Pelhaître. Launched in 2009, the system was expanded in 2016 and 2017, with further opening, niche, shelving and finish options introduced for 2019.

Storage details

Door units use a magnetized push mechanism with a galvanized plate. Optional niches can include an aluminium frame, lacquered back panel, indirect LED back panel, crystal-glass shelf or slim lacquered aluminium shelf. Illuminated panels use four concealed 3 mm LED strips and a 20 W transformer.

Story

A system that evolved over time

Book&Look began in 2009 and grew through additions in 2016, 2017 and 2019. The later changes added a revised push-opening system, niches for chests, another shelving unit and a broader finish palette.

Configurable niches

A niche may combine a 12 mm aluminium frame, a lacquered back, an optional illuminated panel with four concealed LED strips, an 8 mm crystal-glass shelf or a 3 mm aluminium shelf. These components allow storage fronts to mix open and closed elements.
