Description

Overview

Giampiero Tagliaferri designed the Diagramma Sideboard for Minotti as a storage piece. Its irregular, multifaceted shape reads as a sculptural volume, with drawers and an open compartment, and a refined metal band closes each short side.

Construction

The structure is 22 mm MDF with 45° bevelled edges in a glossy lacquer finish inside and out. The structural base and top are laminated MDF and aluminium. The large drawers are MDF in a matt lacquer, inside and out, and they open by push and pull on full-extension Blumotion runners. The sides are 6 mm polished stainless steel, and three curved polished stainless-steel blades, 12 mm thick, carry the unit on adjustable black SEBS feet.

Specifications

  • Size: 321 x 64 x H38 cm (three large drawers and an open compartment)
  • Structure: MDF, 22 mm, glossy lacquer in Moka or Cappuccino
  • Drawers: matt lacquer in Moka or Cappuccino, maximum load 30 kg each
  • FSC® certified wood components

Story

A storage unit for the Diagramma family

The sideboard joins the Diagramma coffee table family as a storage piece with a strong contemporary aesthetic. Its faceted outline makes it a sculptural volume that can become an iconic element in the living space.

Drawers, open compartment and metal band

A glossy lacquered structure combines drawers with an open compartment, which makes the piece functional as well as sculptural. The metal band on both short sides gives it a dramatic effect.
