Description

Overview

Crown is a 2014 dining table by Roberto Lazzeroni. Its metal base stacks horizontal rings between vertical bars, creating the crown-like effect from which the design takes its name.

Construction

A solid-ash top carries three marble inserts and is available in natural or stained finishes. The metal structure has six published treatments and thermoplastic floor tips. An optional revolving Lazy Susan repeats the ash finish.

Specifications

Representative code: 01M660. Dimensions: 180 cm diameter × 75 cm high. The drawing also labels 70 cm beneath the top.

Story

A crown translated into structure

Roberto Lazzeroni shaped Crown's identity through the base rather than an applied motif. Repeated metal rings are divided by upright bars, producing an open cylindrical structure that Flexform compares to a crown.

Dining around a circle

The top combines solid ash with three marble sectors. Flexform also offers a separate revolving Lazy Susan in matching ash finishes, introducing a functional central element for shared dining.
