Story
A seat built around springs
Minotti's technical text for the armchair spends most of its words on the seat: high-resilience foam of variable density, an inclination customised for comfort, foam contoured to the ergonomics of the seat, and a core insert of steel pocket springs, which Minotti credits with non-deformability of the seat and greater comfort.
Made to come apart
The front and rear bases come off through a quick set and release closure, and the headrest lifts out once the levers beneath its support are released. The buttons of the lumbar cushion detach too, so the upholstery can be taken off; Minotti notes that the same steps can ease shipping and delivery.
