Confident Armchair

A compact curved shell

Confident is a rounded armchair designed by Piero Lissoni in 2011. Its preformed curved-wood frame is padded in differentiated-density polyurethane and supported by cross-woven elastic straps.

Three outer-shell expressions

The exterior can remain upholstered, use rattan in three colours, or receive curved plywood veneers including oak, Striped Grey and Stone Oak. Fabric covers are removable on the upholstered version; rattan and wood shells use fixed covers. The standard chair measures 66 × 72 × 62 cm and can also have a swivel base.

Rounded seating for shared interiors

Living Divani presents Confident as a welcoming chair for contract settings. Its continuous curved back establishes a clear boundary around the seat, while changes to the outer shell shift the character from fully upholstered to woven or veneered. Higher feet, swivel castors and a swivelling base expand the planning options beyond the standard plastic supports.
