Overview

New Big is the round, 42 cm size of Anna Castelli Ferrieri's Componibili for Kartell, shown with a new industrial print that Kartell says improves both quality and appearance. The listed model is the Burgundy two-element unit, item 04922BO (code 4922).

Construction

Each unit is one non-disassemblable structure made of two or three indivisible elements, so it cannot be separated or rebuilt into another arrangement. Kartell also allows wheels to be fitted. The material is batch-dyed ABS.

Surface and colour update

Kartell calls this the latest technical evolution of a classic from its catalogue. The 42 cm round Componibili receives a new industrial print, and its colour choice widens: shades already offered for the 32 cm size are joined by original new ones that, in Kartell's words, mix contemporary taste with elegant references to the past.

Every unit is built as a single structure from two or three indivisible elements. The two-element unit with a 42 cm plan is 61.5 cm high and weighs 5.66 kg.
