Chauffeuse is a Piero Lissoni armchair introduced in 2011. Living Divani presents it as a modern interpretation of an archetypal armchair, emphasizing comfort, generous space and a reassuring presence.

A singular silhouette

The official imagery consistently shows a high back flowing into projecting sides around a broad seat. The saved technical-download endpoint currently returns a Chemise sheet rather than Chauffeuse data, so construction, finishes and exact dimensions are intentionally not transferred from that unrelated document.

Revisiting an established type

Rather than positioning Chauffeuse as a system or family of variants, Living Divani defines it through the familiar idea of an encompassing armchair. Lissoni's 2011 interpretation uses height, width and a continuous outer profile to give that established furniture type a contemporary identity, while the official page keeps its written description deliberately concise, focused and restrained.
