Description
Overview
Lella and Massimo Vignelli designed this oval CEO Cube table for Poltrona Frau. Pelle Frau® ColorSphere leather upholsters the oval top, and cylindrical legs of metal tubing carry it.
Construction
- Structure: iron, painted black
- Top: two MDF panels in double panelling, with black textured paint on the lower one and, above it, light foam padding under Pelle Frau® upholstery
- Legs: metal tubes of cylindrical form with light padding and a leather covering, plus adjustable plastic caps

Story
Layers of the oval top
The top of this oval table consists of two overlapping panels: black textured paint on the one beneath, and on the one above a covering of Pelle Frau® leather over light foam padding. The oval outline is welcoming and corner-free.
Legs and structure
Legs of cylindrical metal tubing, lightly padded and clad in leather, hold up the top, and the structure beneath is black painted iron. The oval shape, the cylindrical legs and the upholstered top convey a sense of elegance and solidity.
