Description
Carbon fibre shaped by hand
Carbon Frog is a woven indoor-outdoor armchair designed by Piero Lissoni in 2015. Its circular-section carbon-fibre tubes are formed in aluminum molds from unidirectional and axial fabrics layered orthogonally, with reinforcement added where stresses are higher.

Lightness through autoclave curing
High-temperature autoclave polymerization at constant pressure reinforces the frame while reducing weight. A flat polyester profile forms the weave. The published footprint is 83 × 94 cm, and overall height is 72 cm. The seat depth is 51 cm.
Story
Frog translated into carbon
Living Divani's Carbon Frog pairs a technically demanding frame with the visibly simple rhythm of woven strips. Transparent gloss can expose the carbon, while red, Black Red, Umbra Grey and Steel Blue finishes turn both frame and weave into stronger colour statements. The same construction is specified for indoor and outdoor use, extending its placement possibilities.
