Description
Overview
Brutalist Outdoor is Giampiero Tagliaferri's outdoor adaptation of the Brutalist dining table for Minotti. It is offered in three rectangular lengths and two round formats for varied exterior dining arrangements.
Construction
A slatted natural teak top rests on an irregular star-shaped base moulded in concrete and sanded smooth. A matt Ecru stainless-steel structure supports the top, while adjustable rubber feet finish the substantial base.
Specifications
The representative largest rectangular model measures 351 x 115 x H74 cm.
Story
Architectural reference
The design draws on Turin's Palazzo del Lavoro by Pier Luigi Nervi. Its concrete base translates that architectural reference into an irregular, branching support beneath the top.
Outdoor material change
For the outdoor version, solid natural teak slats replace the indoor top material. The table remains available in both elongated rectangular and round forms, all at dining height.
